The Preston Castle Foundation’s annual wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres and tour helps pay for the on-going restoration
of this beautiful, 1890s Romanesque Revival building. The castle, formerly known as the Preston School of Industry,
was built to help rehabilitate young offenders by providing instruction in various trades. The school was closed in 1960
and the castle abandoned, remaining vacant until 2001, when the Preston Castle Foundation was organized.
